Bonuses in Bitcoin Rather than dollars,

Cade Cunningham, a rising star in the National Basketball Association, has partnered with BlockFi, a crypto-focused startup, according to a recent press release. As part of the agreement, the 19-year-old American will educate sports fans about the value of cryptocurrencies through interviews, films, and promotional prizes.

Cunningham will be paid a signing bonus, the amount of which has not been revealed. What is known is that BlockFi will deposit the funds immediately into his account in the form of bitcoin.

The guard for the Detroit Pistons said that digital assets are becoming increasingly essential in the financial system. He went on to say that the relationship with BlockFi will benefit not just him as a long-term investor, but also communities all around the world who would be able to learn more about the benefits of cryptocurrencies:

“I'm delighted to work with BlockFi to diversify my portfolio and manage my crypto assets, which are becoming increasingly significant in personal finance. It's not just about preparing myself for long-term financial success for me; it's also about educating future generations about financial wellness.

Many industrious people in communities across the United States and around the world still lack access to cost-effective, dependable savings and investment options.”

Zac Prince, the CEO and Co-Founder of BlockFi, lauded Cunningham as one of the NBA's top players. People like him, he believes, will undoubtedly help society gain a greater appreciation of the possibilities of virtual assets:

“Anyone who has watched Cade's career for even a minute understands he is the future of basketball. What excites us is his enthusiasm for and devotion to cryptocurrencies, which we think to be the financial future. Cade is educating basketball fans about the value and promise of cryptocurrency through his platform.”

A Pro Footballer Would Convert His Annual Marketing Profits to Bitcoin

Supporters of digital assets can also be found in the National Football League. According to CryptoPotato, New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley has stated that he will only accept bitcoin as payment for future endorsements.

He went on to say that the major cryptocurrency is the best choice for a store of wealth, particularly when inflation begins to wreak havoc on the economy:

“We're seeing inflation, and we're discovering that wealth can't be saved. As a result, I'm going to take my marketing funds in bitcoin.”

Barkley stated that he wishes to leave his family with a legacy of money. Because relying solely on a wage is difficult, he claims that investing in bitcoin is “the smart thing to do.”
