Elon Musk Approves Vitalik Buterin's Proposal on Ethereum and Dogecoin Collaboration

Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed that he agreed with Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin's proposal for a collaboration between ETH (Ethereum) and DOGE (Dogecoin).

Vitalik Buterin came up with an idea to create a secure Dogecoin to Ethereum bridge. It would be something extraordinary.

He explained about the potential collaboration between Ethereum and Dogecoin in an interview with AI researcher Lex Fridman last week.

Referring to the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX who has repeatedly tweeted about Dogecoin, Lex Fridman explained that there is a force behind Elon Musk driving the development of cryptocurrencies.

he then tried asking Vitalik Buterin about any way to leverage that power and momentum to improve Ethereum.

Then Vitalik Buterin also explained, if DOGE wanted to bridge to ETH, then everyone could trade DOGE thousands of times per second in the loopring, then that would be awesome.

He also said that Ethereum would oppose the dog meme coin. He thought it would be great, if he could have a secure Doge to Ethereum bridge.

When Ethereum gets working scalability for Ethereum assets, traders can trade DOGE with low transaction fees as well as very high speeds.

Commenting on Elon Musk's actions in favor of DOGE, Vitalik Buterin said one would make a mistake if there was too much malice deep into the whole process.

According to him, Elon Musk is only human, and he loves dogs as much as he loves dogs.

Elon Musk then responded to the interview with a tweet on his Twitter account, stating that he agreed with Vitalik Buterin's proposal.

Ethereum is currently undergoing an upgrade transition from a proof of work (PoW) consensus model to a proof of stake (PoS) model.

Vitalik Buterin recently explained why the upgrade is taking longer than originally planned.

One of the biggest problems found in his project was not a technical one, but one related to people.

Ethereum is now in a better economic position, but it took up to 5 years to get to where it is now.

“Ethereum has even had a lot of internal team conflicts in these 5 years. In building a team, it is very important to know who we are working with,” said Vitalik Buterin.

Last month, Elon Musk proposed some fixes for Dogecoin, claiming to have met with DOGE developers.

Elon Musk explained in a tweet that ideally DOGE would speed up block times by 10X, increase block size by 10X & lower costs by 100X, then DOGE would win by a landslide.
