Apple Pay begins Lyrics of Cryptocurrency for Alternative Payment Means on iPhone

It seems that Apple is starting to look at cryptocurrencies as an alternative means of payment. This can be seen from the job vacancies they open.

In the job opening, Apple is looking for a person who will work as a business development manager for alternative payments. That person will later join the Apple Wallet, Payment, and Commerce team.

The first thing that's interesting is that Apple mentions that they are looking for a proven professional in alternative payment solutions and that is growing globally.

Another interesting point appears in the requirements section. One of the requirements states that the person must have at least 5 years of experience working in alternative payments, such as digital wallets, BNPL, fast payments, and cryptocurrencies.

Apple itself is currently providing a means of payment via Apple Pay. Then in 2019, Apple Pay vice president Jennifer Bailey said that Apple considered cryptocurrencies to have long-term potential.

In addition, which is no less interesting, the popular cryptocurrency transaction application Coinbase has listed that it supports the Wallet application in its information on the App Store. On the other hand, Coinbase's support page says it still doesn't support Apple Pay. But they are looking for a way so that users can make payments via iPhone and iPad.

Although not sure how it will be realized later, this job vacancy at Apple related to cryptocurrency is definitely interesting.
